(Austin, Texas) -- One of the world’s leading providers of advanced memory and image sensor solutions, Micron Technology Inc., has joined the International SEMATECH Manufacturing Initiative, bringing its overall membership to 14 companies. Micron will participate in ISMI programs that focus on reducing per-wafer and per-die manufacturing costs through advances in equipment, process, resources, fab design, and manufacturing methods. In turn, Micron will receive the benefits of ISMI’s collaborative work in manufacturing infrastructure, standards, and productivity.
