(Toshiba Teli America Inc.: Irvine, CA) -- Designed for vision applications requiring speed and resistance to blooming, the CSGV90BCS GiantDragon monochrome camera from Toshiba Teli runs 90 frames per second, uncompressed images at VGA resolution over the GigE Vision standard Gigabit Ethernet interface.

The latest GiantDragon camera to be introduced, the CSGV90BCS, is suitable in high-speed robotics, industrial inspection, optical character recogniion, traffic monitoring, machine vision, and original-equipment-manufacturer integration. Progressive-scan architecture provides excellent image quality for full-motion video and still-image capture. Performance is further enhanced by the camera’s random shutter mode, scalable “region of interest” partial scanning for faster frame rates, and compact dimensions (44 mm × 29 mm × 70 mm) for easy interchange with older analog cameras in existing systems.
