Body

(BQPM: Newark, CA) -- Business & Quality Process Management, an innovative provider of consulting, training, and software tools that help companies create leaner and more effective organizations, is now offering a high-impact, three-day course on hazardous substance process management (HSPM). The course provides students with an understanding of the importance of HSPM in the manufacture and distribution of electrical equipment, electronic components, and consumer products.

The QC 080000 IECQ HSPM standard is a practical and effective approach to RoHS, WEEE, ELV, packaging, battery, and China Directives and Regulations. Compliance to these directives is best served by using the IECQ HSPM standard. This course shows companies how certification to this standard can help them move beyond repetitive and costly testing, audits, and assessments of suppliers, to voluntary assessments and certification of electronic components and production processes by an accredited third party. Executives, quality managers, supervisors, audit team members, and anyone desiring to understand HSPM implementation and assessment should attend this training.

The course will be offered in four locations through the remainder of 2009: In Milwaukee on August 25–27, in Denver on September 29–October 1, in San Francisco on October 6–8, and in Boston on October 26–28.
