(PPT Vision: Bloomington, MN) -- PPT VISION Inc. announces the newest addition to the company’s popular series of IMPACT smart cameras, the Right-Angle T-Series intelligent camera. This camera is paired with PPT Vision’s full IMPACT software suite, which solves challenging industrial vision applications such as product or feature inspection, location, and identification. IMPACT smart cameras employ closely integrated vision software and hardware to deliver a sophisticated solution for vial inspection, label inspection, optical character recognition, and many other machine vision applications.

“T-Series smart cameras are now available in right-angle housings, as well as in-line and remote-head housings, to offer operators the flexibility to ideally position the camera into an available mechanical envelope, making it simple to install for most manufacturing machinery configurations,” says Sean O’Driscoll, executive vice president of PPT Vision. “However, the feature that truly distinguishes the IMPACT machine vision system from the competition is its advanced image processing software. Empowered with IMPACT, our team of application engineers listens to integrators, machine builders, and manufacturers—solving critical automated visual inspections in a collaborative way.”
