Exact Metrology to Exhibit at Coordinate Metrology Society Conference

Leader in 3D scanning joins master metrology users at this unique event

Published: Monday, July 18, 2022 - 11:57

(Exact Metrology: Cincinnati) -- Exact Metrology, a division of In-Place Machining Co. and a comprehensive 3D metrology service provider and hardware sales company, will exhibit at the Coordinate Metrology Society Conference (CMSC) along with their sister division, OASIS Alignment Services.

Held July 25–29, 2022, at the Renaissance Orlando SeaWorld, this practical, user-driven metrology conference allows attendees to try innovative coordinate metrology equipment and educate themselves about metrology principles. In addition, attendees can receive certification, which will enable them to implement their knowledge directly into the workplace. Face-to-face interaction is available with more than 400 master end-users of metrology solutions, including developers, decision makers, and equipment vendors and service providers. The CMSC includes numerous technical presentations from industry experts, hands-on workshops that provide training opportunities on metrology hardware and software, and networking.

All the major players, including the metrology equipment manufacturers that Exact Metrology resells for, will be exhibiting and attending.

“Our main focus for this show is to share who we are now as the two precision measurement companies that currently make up the Measurement Services Group of In-Place Machining Company,” says Dean Solberg, vice president of metrology at Exact Metrology. “We look forward to discussing our joint metrology services with show attendees. These include 3D scanning, dimensional inspection, long-range scanning (geospatial), reverse engineering, industrial CT scanning, precision machine alignment, and training on PolyWorks and Geomagic.”

In attendance at booth 219 will be Solberg and Myron Smith, director of training and development at OASIS Alignment Services.

Reflecting on the importance of the show, Solberg believes it’s the ideal place to get a first-hand look at new developments in precision measurement systems and software.

“The CMSC provides us with the chance to explore best-in-class 3D metrology options, as well as share the benefits of our services with the members of this unique society,” says Smith.
