There continues to be a gap between what we know, what we do, and what we sustain in healthcare. This gap harms our patients’ safety and quality of life, and it harms our organizational outcomes. To address this gap, professionals in healthcare quality can facilitate their work by integrating tools and strategies from implementation science.
