Dr. Ahmed Shembesh, LNCSM and Vincent Desmond, IRCA sign the agreement in Tripoli

The International Register of Certificated Auditors and the Libyan National Centre for Standardization and Metrology recently formed an alliance to provide local certification services for Libyan auditors.

The arrangement will make IRCA’s auditor certification program more accessible to Libyan auditors by removing the constraints of language, culture and geography. Certification integrity will be maintained through the presence of an IRCA representative in Libya who will evaluate certification applications and verify information.

“IRCA is very pleased to be supporting the LNCSM’s initiative to develop standards and conformity assessment in Libya and we look forward to contributing IRCA’s know-how and services in the future,” says Simon Feary, IRCA director.
