Well-known consultant Thomas McCarty, author of The Six Sigma Black Belt Handbook has joined Cohesia Corp.’s advisory board. McCarty has worked with more than 50 leadership teams at various companies and governmental organizations. His clients include Agilent, American Electric Power, Microsoft, Motorola and the U.S. Department of Defense. In his advisory role, he’ll provide advice, assistance and guidance on future releases of Cohesia technology and contribute to the company’s business model.

“Root-cause analysis is a key component of successful Six Sigma programs, and Cohesia has proven that the root cause in 62 percent of quality escapes are directly attributable to the ambiguity in the flow down of specifications through the supply chain,” says McCarty. “This has allowed them to provide a manufacturer’s best practice for significantly reducing quality escapes while improving time-to-market. I look forward to joining Cohesia as they look to further extend their unique skill set.”

Cohesia is a provider of solutions to streamline technical-document management, eliminating ambiguity in the flow down of requirements across the supply chain. For more information, visit www.cohesia.com.
