Eastman Kodak Co. recently acquired OREX, a provider of nondestructive test equipment for specialty medical facilities. OREX has 84 employees, is headquartered in Yokneam, Israel, and is now part of Kodak’s Health Group’s Non-Destructive Testing group, which produces KODAK INDUSTREX digital systems, films, chemicals and processing equipment. The NDT group has more than 4,000 service and support employees.
“Kodak’s NDT product portfolio now includes leading film and digital technologies for mobile and large-scale imaging applications alike,” says William Quinn, worldwide general manager of aerial and industrial markets for Kodak’s digital and film imaging systems unit. “Kodak continues to pursue and develop better ways for customers to use images and information, and OREX’s products for mobile NDT applications are a great fit in our line of products for applications that require testing devices that move to the structure.”
