(RLWS: Rice Lake, WI) -- Rice Lake Weighing Systems (RLWS) has announced expanded laboratory capabilities that will accommodate the very highest level of precision— International Organization of Legal Metrology (OIML) Classification E1. Many pharmaceutical companies, chemical labs, and calibration houses require the E1 tolerance for their calibration standards. In order to supply customers with the necessary precision, Rice Lake invested in additional equipment to meet regulatory and uncertainty guidelines.

Rice Lake provides customers with an industry leading four-day turnaround on all weight re-certifications, including Class E1 weights up to 10 kg. Additionally, they now manufacture and certify Class E1 laboratory weights from 1 mg to 5 kg, purchased individually in kits, or as sets that include multiple weights in 5-2-2-1 configuration.
