Singapore Accreditation Council Auditors Join RABQSA

Published: Monday, June 13, 2005 - 22:00

RABQSA International announced this month the transition of Singapore Accreditation Council-certified personnel to the RABQSA-accredited auditor certification schemes. RABQSA will transition all consenting auditors currently certified in quality management systems, occupational health and safety, environmental management systems, and food-safety certification schemes to the aligning certification schemes accredited to ISO/IEC 17024:2003.

“The transition of such professionals from SAC to RABQSA is a keen addition to the certified personnel register, and reinforces the relevance and value to industry for certified personnel,” says Michael Carmody, RABQSA CEO.

This is a progressive step for RABQSA International, as industry and associations instill their confidence in accredited personnel and training certification and the accompanying professional development.

RABQSA International provides business development and implements best practices via standards certifications and accreditations, training, forums and conferences, and auditing schemes. The Singapore Accreditation Council’s primary function is to accredit conformity assessment bodies based on international standards.
