WCBF will host its Lean Six Sigma Summit April 24–27 at The Westin Chicago North Shore.

At the meeting Edward Hanway, Cigna Corp. CEO, will receive the Lean Six Sigma CEO of the Year award for his leadership with the methodology. Cigna’s lean Six Sigma efforts made a $110 million difference this year and could save the company $200 million a year.

The event promises to be among the largest conferences for senior-level process improvement executives in North America this year. Scheduled speakers include Horst Schulze, founding president and former CEO of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co., which won two Baldrige Awards under his leadership; Tim Tyson, Valeant Pharmaceuticals CEO; and John W. Mayers, Textron executive vice president of Six Sigma and transformation.

The summit will also feature forums for vice presidents of lean and Six Sigma, along with an extensive speaker panel. For more information, visit www.wcbf.com/quality/5069/.
