R/D Tech Inc. recently acquired Staveley NDT Technologies, a provider of high-performance nondestructive testing equipment and sensors. Earlier this year, R/D Tech also acquired the nondestructive testing company Panametrics, and in 2003, bought out NDT Engineering, a supplier of eddy current probes and ultrasonic transducers to the aerospace industry.

Staveley NDT Technologies is comprised of Staveley Instruments of Kennewick, Washington; Staveley Sensors of East Hartford, Connecticut; and Staveley NDT Technologies Ltd. of Oxfordshire, U.K. The company manufactures and distributes nondestructive test equipment.
