 Quality    Vision International Inc. recently broke ground on a new facility that will    house its Kotem Technologies division in Hungary. The headquarters office, which is scheduled to open in 2007, is located in    Budaörs, about 10 km southwest of Budapest. The new facility is also part    of QVI’s strategic plan to strengthen customer support for Central Europe.
Quality    Vision International Inc. recently broke ground on a new facility that will    house its Kotem Technologies division in Hungary. The headquarters office, which is scheduled to open in 2007, is located in    Budaörs, about 10 km southwest of Budapest. The new facility is also part    of QVI’s strategic plan to strengthen customer support for Central Europe. “Kotem is committed to providing customers globally with solutions for process analysis and troubleshooting in precision manufacturing,” says Kostadin Doytchinov, Kotem Technologies founder and president.
Founded in 1991, Kotem Technologies was acquired by QVI in 2005. The company develops geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and fitting software for precision metrology. Its products are used on video measuring systems and a variety of coordinate measuring machines.
QVI is the parent company of several prominent metrology companies, including Optical Gaging Products, VIEW Engineering, RAM Optical Instrumentation and Micro-Metric. Kotem Technologies’ products are marketed under the OGP brand name.
