 Hexagon    Metrology will host an opening celebration of its new North American headquarters    in the Quonset Business Park in Kingston, Rhode Island, on Sept. 14. Guests will include Governor Donald L. Carcieri; Saul Kaplan, Rhode Island    Economic Development Corp. executive director; Ola Rollen, Hexagon AB president    and CEO; and Bill Gruber, Hexagon Metrology North America president.
Hexagon    Metrology will host an opening celebration of its new North American headquarters    in the Quonset Business Park in Kingston, Rhode Island, on Sept. 14. Guests will include Governor Donald L. Carcieri; Saul Kaplan, Rhode Island    Economic Development Corp. executive director; Ola Rollen, Hexagon AB president    and CEO; and Bill Gruber, Hexagon Metrology North America president.  The new headquarters is a 126,000-sq.ft., high-efficiency, environmentally controlled structure with more than 12,000 sq. ft. devoted to product showrooms, a state-of-the-art training center and a calibration laboratory. It also includes staff offices, executive meeting rooms, and a research and development center. The grand opening will feature tours of the new facility and showroom.
Hexagon Metrology has 10 manufacturing facilities on four continents, supported by more than 40 sales and administrative locations worldwide. Its products are widely used in the aerospace, defense, medical, automotive and space hardware industries.
