The 22nd Canada Awards for Excellence, equivalent to the Baldrige Awards in the United States, will be announced Oct. 24 at the Performance Excellence Summit in Toronto. The National Quality Institute administers the awards and will host the event at the Toronto Metro Convention Center, featuring a day of information sharing, case studies and opportunities for discussion and debate of quality and healthy workplace initiatives. Robin Sharma, Sharma Leadership International Inc. CEO will deliver the morning keynote presentation, “The Best Practices of the Best Performers: Leadership Tactics to Get You to World Class.” Breakout sessions’ topics include profiles on past CAE winners, talent management, NQI’s criteria for performance excellence, and planning for excellence.
