Executives from automakers and automotive suppliers will meet on June 8 and 9 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Dearborn, Michigan, in the first global automotive manufacturing conference, AutoMan Global 2004.

Organized by Automotive Manufacturing Solutions magazine, the AutoMan Global conference aims to establish an annual appointment for senior industry members. "We realized that there was a need to provide top executives with an exclusive platform to share their knowledge and concerns with the objective of searching for global solutions," says Alex Campos Morales, AMS marketing manager. "AutoMan Global gives key industry players this opportunity. It offers them a unique chance to meet and discuss--in open debate or through private conversations--the latest trends, strategies and opinions."

"With eight sessions already filling up, including flexibility and lean manufacturing, automation and robotics, press shop, safety, and powertrain, the program is expanding day by day," adds Simon Duval Smith, group editor of AMS. "The high level of speaker involvement is testament to the industry’s desire for a global automaking forum."
