(Cybermetrics Corp.: Phoenix) -- The Bosch Group is a global supplier of technology and services for automotive and industrial technology, consumer goods, and building technology. Bosch chose GAGEtrak Calibration Management Software to track its metrology assets, schedule calibrations, and maintain a system that is compliant with its corporate quality requirements and standards. Among the 29 Bosch facilities that have installed the software, the facility located in Anderson, South Carolina, is responsible for managing 4,500 gauges and conducting 4,000 calibrations each year to ensure accurate and reliable measurements of its gasoline systems products.

Prior to GAGEtrak, the company used filing cabinets and index cards to track calibrations. With GAGEtrak, the calibration tracking process became almost paperless. Ben Thomas, at Robert Bosch LLC has used GAGEtrak for more than 10 years. “It seemed to be user friendly and was in-depth [but] not an overkill,” he says. “GAGEtrak streamlined our recall process.”

Although Thomas didn't comment on the training or support services also provided by CyberMetrics for GAGEtrak, Robert Bosch LLC has utilized both services as recently as this year. In addition to training (e.g., regional classroom, on-site, and consultation services) and support services, CyberMetrics offers many optional enhancement products to help customers get the most out of their software.
