(ECM: Topsfield, MA) -- ECM Global Measurement Solutions (ECM) is a satisfied user of SpatialAnalyzer (SA) software from New River Kinematics (NRK). Ray Ryan, vice president of operations for ECM, will present a paper at the 2015 SA User Conference titled “Evolutionary Approach to Automation.” This year’s conference will be held at the Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Virginia on April 21–23, 2015.

NRK’s SpatialAnalyzer software offers a series of approaches to automating measurement and alignment tasks. Automation can be as simple as using existing functions such as “relationships” or creating measurement plans (MPs) all the way up to converting elaborate MPs with subroutines into Visual Basic or C++ software code via the SDK function. ECM uses these software features daily when providing customers with the highest quality scan data for automation, integration, and assembly tasks.
