Statit Releases Health Care-Industry Software Solution

Published: Wednesday, December 14, 2005 - 22:00

Statit Software Inc. recently released Performance Indicator & Management Dashboard (piMD), a new approach to measurement and analysis for the heath care industry. Statit reports that a review of current software options for health care executives revealed a need for a system that would enable executive-level process and accountability management. Past systems failed to integrate existing data from heterogeneous sources, allow user-defined performance alerts, or permit drill-downs to finer analysis granularity, says Tom Simas, Statit Software president and CEO.

“Health care professionals are demanding solutions that deliver analyses and accountability of their quality initiatives,” says Simas. “Statit piMD assists our customers in accessing, tracking, analyzing, comparing and contrasting key performance indicators all from a browser with the click of a button.”

Features of piMD include:

  • Accessing and displaying real-time information from databases, spreadsheets and ancillary information systems
  • The ability to move back and forth from big-picture analysis to transaction-level details
  • Analysis and safe sharing of information throughout an organization
  • Useful knowledge to support timely, data-driven decisions
  • Helping to meet the standards of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services or other external organizations, as well as benchmarking against internal targets.
