A new operational concept, extended functionalities, and faster data processing—these are the cornerstones of the new MoveInspect software.
MoveInspect is AICON’s optical system for the 3-D measurement of dynamic processes. MoveInspect has the unique ability to record any number of measuring points at a high frequency of up to 1000 Hz for an unlimited period of time. This is a true breakthrough in optical metrology.
Already at first glance, you will see many innovations. The user interface comes up with a completely different look. However, AICON has not only attached great importance to a fresh appearance. The top priority has been given to improvements of usability: The icons have a clear structure and are arranged in a logical manner so that the user can quickly get along with the software. With the help of new task bars that can be (un)hidden, the operator is able to change all parameter settings with just a few clicks. All changes are immediately applied, and their impacts on the measurements are visualized thanks to the realtime display. This simplifies the whole configuration of the system and the measurement significantly.
Next to the new appearance, AICON has also worked on the intrinsic values of the software. As an example, it is now much easier to offline analyse images saved from external high-speed cameras directly in the MoveInspect software. Consequently, the software is especially helpful for users who additionally operate other highspeed cameras, and who are seeking for a comfortable possibility to analyse image sequences three-dimensionally.
Moreover, the user can now configure the referencing of the component coordinate system interactively. This facilitates dynamic referencing considerably. Furthermore, the new concept allows for parallel processing on multicore computers. In addition to the version for 32bit-Windows, also a real 64bit-version of the software is available.
Comprehensive functionalities for the presentation of results (e.g. avi video sequences) as well as a new visualization including a 3-D view complete the software improvements.
