Origin Technologies Launches HS722 Sensor

Published: Thursday, May 22, 2014 - 16:49

(Origin Technologies: Fort Worth, TX) -- Origin Technologies Corp., a global provider of off-the-shelf contour measurement systems, has released its latest LaserGauge sensor, model HS722. This handheld laser profiling system is the smallest of the LaserGauge product line.

“The HS722 is our smallest sensor to date and is perfect for measuring edge radius, break angles, chamfer angles, and other small features in hard-to-reach areas.” says Ken Creekmore, Origin Technologies co-founder. The HS722 sensor is so compact, it fits in the palm of your hand. Weighing only 6.5 ounces, the smaller size also reduces operator fatigue.

“Origin Technologies  is committed to producing reliable products made with premium materials and innovative designs for improved performance, durability, and ease-of-use for our customers. It is that commitment that continues to drive our product evolution,” adds Creekmore.

Origin Technologies is an Alabama-based private company that was founded in 1994. With a background in imaging and inspection projects for NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center as well as the U.S. Army’s Aviation and Missile Command and Sensors and Electron Devices Directorate, the founders of Origin Technologies identified the need for an off-the-shelf contour measurement system adaptable to different applications serving the automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing industries worldwide.
