Agree. Healthcare is an underrepresented segment that could greatly benefit from lean techniques. While application of lean tools can certainly reduce waste, it often can increase the speed of value delivery as well. It doesn't take much effort to get a big benefit. Just choose to make the effort...
LEAN works
I started a lean journey nearly 13 years ago with a LEAN project called follow the Money, and over time has resulted in a revenue increase over 167 million dollars since the starting point (25% growth).
