Meggitt Sensing Systems has operated through its antecedents since 1927 under the names of Ferroperm Piezoceramics, Lodge Ignition, Endevco, Sensorex, ECET, Vibro-Meter, and Wilcoxon Research. Today, their capabilities and facilities have been integrated to one Meggitt division, providing complete systems from a single supply base. Meggitt’s piezoresistive, Isotron and variable capacitance accelerometers, piezoresistive pressure transducers, acoustic sensors, electronic instruments, and calibration systems ensure critical accuracy and reliability within aerospace, automotive, defense, industrial, medical, power generation, R&D, space and test and measurement applications.
