New Product for IEEE 1641 Signal Definition Standard

Published: Tuesday, March 8, 2005 - 23:00

Racal Instruments Inc. recently released newWave, a software toolset designed to facilitate compliance to the new signal definition standard, IEEE 1641. Developed to assist software and test developers use and implement the new standard, newWave enables signal definition exports into ATML, C++ and other commonly used test programming environments. In addition, it allows users to see, simulate and standardize complex signals across multiple platforms.

“The result of this design philosophy is that newWave, through ActiveX technology, supports signal-based test programming in virtually all of the existing testing environments,” says Chris Gorringe, Racal Instruments software engineering manager.
