The American National Standards Institute recently launched a tracking system to record the implementation of the United States Standards Strategy. Published in December, the USSS establishes a framework that can be used to advance trade issues in the global marketplace, enhance consumer health and safety, meet stakeholder needs, and advance U.S. viewpoints regionally and internationally. Stakeholders have been encouraged to develop and enact sector-specific implementation plans to achieve the best results. ANSI will collate the data posted to the tracking system and present an implementation at the celebration of World Standards Day in October in Washington.
