UGS Corp., a provider of product life-cycle management (PLM) software and services, will soon host its 4th annual Digital Manufacturing Symposium in Dearborn, Michigan.

The conference will be held Sept. 13–14 at the Conference & Event Center. Scheduled to present are executives and leaders from world-class manufacturing companies, including Applied Materials, Ford Motor Co., GE Aviation, General Motors, Rolls-Royce and Tesco Group. The keynote address will be delivered by Kevin Smith, Harbour Consulting director of performance consulting.

Highlights will include techniques to bring PLM to the shop floor, a session on emerging technologies, and a discussion about tying Six Sigma processes into a product’s definition.
