Statistical Design Institute and Southern Methodist University’s Systems Engineering Program will host an upcoming workshop for enhanced product development using Six Sigma.
The event will focus on the integration of systems engineering and design for Six Sigma in product development. It will be held Oct. 18–20 in Plano, Texas. Topics to be covered include the basics of systems engineering and DFSS; methods and tools for requirements identification, analysis and optimization; and using systems engineering and DFSS in an integrated process. The workshop has been designed for managers, engineers and product specialists. It includes 23 professional development hours or 2.3 continuing education units as defined by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.
