Six Sigma in Service & Transactional Environments Summit Announced

The 2nd annual Six Sigma in Service & Transactional Environments Summit will be held Oct. 20–21 in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The conference, hosted by WCBF, will feature case studies and examples of how Six Sigma is being used in nonmanufacturing environments, an exploration of lean Six Sigma, tips on collecting and measuring quality data, and advice on convincing middle management to adopt Six Sigma for the long-term. There will also be extensive workshops, seminars and round table discussions. Tom McCarty, executive vice president of strategic consulting of Jones Lang LaSalle Americas Inc., will be the conference’s chairman and keynote speaker. Other speakers include Steve Avery, senior vice president, Sterlings Savings Bank; Chris Provines, vice president of preferred practices and improvement methodology, Johnson & Johnson; Ying Shiau, vice president of global Six Sigma, Starwood Hotels & Resorts; and Robert Norris, AIG Insurance senior vice president of performance management program,.

The event will be held at the Scottsdale Resort & Conference Center.

WCBF produces a variety of events related to business information, best practices, case-studies from leading industry minds and early adopters. Its events are targeted at high-level senior executives and industry leaders.
