LASON India, a worldwide provider of business-process outsourcing and a leading Indian Six Sigma practitioner, will add 1,600 new jobs to support significant business growth. LASON India was formed in 1992 and currently employs 6,600 people. It recently moved into new headquarters in Chennai, India, and invested in new technologies. The company reports significant business-process outsourcing growth in three vertical markets: health care, financial services and shared services. Along with the new jobs in India, LASON Inc., LASON India’s parent company, is opening three new business-process outsourcing centers in North America.

“We’ll look into the core competencies in business process redesign, process improvement and benchmark metrics that would leverage the unsurpassed deliverables across our specialized verticals,” says Ronald Risher, LASON Inc. president and CEO.

LASON Inc. has its headquarters in Troy, Michigan. For more information, visit www.lason.com.
