Body

(Umetrics: Malmö, Sweden) — Umetrics announces the release of version 12 of SIMCA-4000, a state-of-the-art, off-the-shelf, Windows-based software, providing multivariate statistical process control (MSPC) for continuous processes. Whether there are tens, hundreds, or even thousands of incoming signals/parameters, SIMCA-4000 visualizes the current state of the entire process in a few simple plots.

SIMCA-4000 12 supports alarms based on results, including visualization and export of triggered alarms. This version also provides functionality to display the results in customizable clients, such as web clients.

SIMCA-4000 12 has support for projects created in SIMCA-P+ 12 and is available both as 32-bit and 64-bit.

SIMCA-4000 has robust client/server architecture with a dedicated server that performs all calculations in real time and then sends the results to the client, which visualizes the results. Results can also be sent back to the historian for further communication to SCADA or DCS systems.
