(Magnatag: Macedon, NY) -- Manufacturers are choosing Magnatag CardView Kanban boards to coordinate inventories and lean workflow. “The boards are great for managing inventory movement,” says a materials manager from St. Clair Shores, Michigan. “As the item cards are removed, the yellow and red pocket colors give us a visual signal that supplies are low.”

“They are effective for visual load leveling and reducing work in progress. We use them in our warehouse areas and at each work cell,” says a lean manufacturing coordinator from Lexington, Kentucky. “With these CardView boards our people always know which job to work on next... no time is wasted and we are always working on the top priority orders.”

“We offer our patented CardView Kanban board kits in five formats: Next-Job, Build-Board, Job-Load, To-Do, and On-Hand,” says Magnatag spokesman Christian Krapf. “Each comes ready to use in six size capacities, including kanban cards in 17 colors, card printing templates, color pocket tapes, and press-on FlashSpot signals so customers can tailor the board to their exact needs. CardView board users tell us they reduce inventory levels, work in progress, and stock outs.”

“They are very effective in our own warehouse and production floor keeping our inventory low and balancing our manpower to meet customer ship dates,” Magnatag’s own lean manufacturing manager, explains.
