Developed with lean manufacturing expert Jamie Flinchbaugh, Rexroth’s “Designing New Facilities to Be Lean” podcast discusses the value and importance of incorporating lean principles into the design of a new facility. The challenge is to make sure that the whole process is lean.

Flinchbaugh emphasizes that there are three major categories to consider for ensuring lean operation in a new facility.

The design of the factory—how does the design contribute to the company’s goals for lean operation?
