WCBF will host a design for Six Sigma (DFSS) conference in Las Vegas in September. The keynote address—“Design for Six Sigma: A Key to Growth”—will be delivered by Martha Gardner, GE Global Research global quality leader. Other expert speakers include Kamal Ayoub, Tyco Healthcare vice president of operational excellence; Aly Badawy, TRW Automotive vice president of steering and suspension engineering; and Sue Nelson, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida director of continuous improvement integration.
The conference will also feature different tracks for beginning, intermediate, mature and technical Six Sigma practitioners, and for DFSS users in product development, and in service and transactional environments. Nine separate preconference workshops will offer specialized introductions to the conference.
Varied presentations will address key challenges for DFSS users, among them proving the value and measuring the savings of DFSS, DFSS in software to drive continuous improvement, next-generation tools for DFSS and DFSS in innovation.
