JLG Industries Inc. recently implemented a new strategic plan that diversifies its operations and increases the focus on its Six Sigma program. The company’s new vice president of Six Sigma quality processes and training is now John Louderback, who has been with the company since 1993, when he started as director of sales and distributor development.

“The first year of our Six Sigma program has been very successful, and now is the opportune time to expand its impact by focusing our commitment to this strategic initiative under John’s leadership,” says Bill Lasky, JLG Industries president and CEO. “John has been the Six Sigma champion from day one, and he’s to be commended for his passion and desire to institutionalize the principles of Six Sigma at JLG. We expect that he will lead our efforts to even greater levels of success.”

The company’s new strategic plan also calls for the expansion of its ServicePLUS subsidiary, which is located in the Houston area, to the Mid-Atlantic region. ServicePLUS provides repair, maintenance and training on JLG-manufactured products and related construction equipment. The company plans to include the commercial equipment services operations located in McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania.
