(LeanSSC: Seattle) -- The Lean Software and Systems Consortium (LeanSSC) 2010 announces its inaugural U.S. conference to take place in Atlanta, April 21-23, at the JW Marriott - Buckhead. The conference will be the first formal community event tailored specifically to those interested in lean, agile, and kanban methods.

The LeanSSC conference will bring together up to 300 industry leaders and practitioners to advance the state of lean/kanban software development. This event is part of the LeanSSC’s effort to foster an open-minded community that enables organizations to take advantage of lean thinking in their software endeavors and systems engineering. Speakers have been chosen from a variety of industries that have worked with teams on projects and have achieved significant results demonstrated with objective data.

The conference will be divided into several tracks:

Lean Business and Management. Broadly based, covering a wide range of lean ideas and concepts applied to software project management
