(Plex Systems Inc.: Auburn Hills, MI) -- Plex Systems, provider of Plex Online, a cloud ERP for manufacturers, has introduced new features to Plex Online that help manufacturers further improve the speed and efficiency of their engineering-related functions.

Enhancements cover product development, program management, and parts information. The changes have been made seamlessly to the Plex Online solution and are now accessible by all users at any time, at no additional cost.

Product development enhancements protect the integrity of engineering change requests (ECRs) and add controls to design versions. For example, new controls and options for auto revisions and the addition of new bills of material (BOM) hyperlinks provide users with more flexibility and capability to control changes. The system now includes flags that can be selected by users to prevent editing while changes are at a  certain status.
