APQC and the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals are collaborating to provide no-cost supply chain measurements for benchmarking. The organizations developed and are promoting online supply chain surveys as a reliable and cost-effective way for organizations to learn how their performance measures up against that of their peers. The initiative is part of the larger Open Standards Benchmarking Collaborative, an effort to develop commonly used processes, measures and benchmarks that are available to organizations worldwide to improve performance.
“Supply chain managers need a resource that provides credible, trusted and actionable benchmarks to improve business results,” says Carla O’Dell, APQC president. “By collaborating with CSCMP, APQC works with supply chain practitioners to develop performance comparisons that lead to improvement opportunities. Our benchmarks are objective and impactful.”
The supply chain surveys, benchmarks and sample reports are available at www.apqc.org/osbcdatabase.
