The Juran Institute Inc. will celebrate the 100th birthday of Joseph M. Juran, the organization’s founder and a pioneering architect of quality management.

The celebration, slated for May 6, 2004, encompasses two other significant anniversaries. The Juran Institute will celebrate all three milestones at an invitation-only tribute from at the Marriott Hotel in Stamford, Connecticut. Friends, family and associates who have benefited from Juran’s work—including Robert Galvin, chairman emeritus of Motorola Corp.—will make brief presentations during the event, and Juran will offer closing remarks.
