DALSA Corp. has completed the acquisition of Coreco Inc.DALSA paid approximately $73.4 million for Coreco, a provider of performance improvement hardware and software for manufacturing processes. Of that sum, $35 million was paid in cash and the balance was paid by the issuance of 1.9 million DALSA common shares. Coreco shareholders can choose to receive 0.5207 of a DALSA common share, $10 cash or a combination of the two for each of their Coreco shares. The acquisition will add about $30 million per year to DALSA’s earnings. Coreco is expected to operate as a division of DALSA and DALSA Coreco will continue to sell all of Coreco’s products.
