Body

(PLX: Deer Park, NY) -- PLX Inc., a designer and manufacturer of unique optical instruments and systems, has developed a ball-mounted hollow retroreflector (BMR) made of ceramic to be used in nonmagnetic environments.

The ceramic BMR is available in two center accuracies within 0.0005 in. and within 0.0001 in. It is manufactured with three diameter sizes: 1½ in., ⅞ in., and ½ in.

Ceramic BMRs are lighter, smoother, and corrosion- and electrically-resistant with low thermal conductivity.

PLX guarantees its BMRs to provide superior performance and compatibility with laser tracking systems from all manufacturers.

For more information, visit the PLX website or contact PLX at (613) 586-4190 or info@plxinc.com.
