With 20 years of research, development, engineering, quality and design experience, Michael Slocum moves to Air Academy Associates as Chief Innovation Officer.

By hiring Slocum, Air Academy increases its ability to deliver an innovative and customized competitive excellence strategy to the board room, as well as to research and development and other business units accountable for delivering results.

“We are ecstatic that Michael is joining us,” says Dr. Mark Kiemele, president of Air Academy Associates. “His participation in and development of over 500 patentable innovations in both technical and non-technical areas is evidence that he has developed a problem-solving process that can work for our customers.”

“What we really like about Michael’s innovative problem-solving strategy is that it integrates nicely with our KISS (keep it simple statistically) approach to lean Six Sigma and design for Six Sigma. It is systematic and structured, and it applies at the strategic level as well as at the tactical level.”
