(AMETEK: Largo, FL) -- AMETEK Test & Calibration Instruments, a leader in temperature calibration, has added the JOFRA RTC-158 and RTC-250 to its line of advanced dry-block reference temperature calibrators. Both calibrators offer a host of innovative features.

The calibrators combine a liquid bath and a large-diameter insert, and are designed to calibrate odd sizes and shaped sensors or multiple sensors at once. The RTC-158, which replaces the ATC-140, covers a temperature range of –22 to 155° C (–8o to 311° F), while the RTC-250, which replaces the ATC-250, covers a higher temperature range of 28° to 250° C (82° to 482° F).

Both the RTC-158 and the RTC-250 feature AMETEK’s Dynamic Load Compensation (DLC) system that provides perfect temperature uniformity in the insert no matter the number or size of the sensors immersed. The calibrators also offer intelligent sensors for plug-and-play connectivity, an easy-to-read, full-color 5.7-in. VGA display, and a USB connection for improved communications and software downloads.
