SmartScope Apex Micro precision dimensional measurement system

(OGP: Rochester, NY) --Optical Gaging Products (OGP) introduces the new SmartScope Apex Micro precision dimensional measurement system to the industrial marketplace. Apex Micro is a floor model fixed-optics system, and features a state-of-the-art digital camera and digital zoom. The Apex Micro recently exhibited at IMTS 2010 was equipped with an OGP Feather Probe microprobe with a 0.005 in. stylus and a through-the-lens (TTL) high-accuracy laser for detailed high-resolution micro measuring. A high-precision rotary (HPR)  air bearing rotary indexer with 1 arc-second accuracy mounted at a 33° angle demonstrated measurement of fuel injector nozzles with 0.009 in. diameter holes.
