(Rice Lake Weighing Systems: Rice Lake, WI) -- Rice Lake Weighing Systems, manufacturer and distributor of weight-related products and process-control equipment, has announced the purchase of Measurement Systems International (MSI), a scale equipment manufacturer based in Seattle.

Measurement Systems International has been in business since 1977 manufacturing niche technologies such as crane scales and aircraft load monitors, which are now sought after and distributed throughout the world. Rice Lake plans to keep MSI manufacturing and operations at its current location, including all existing employees, and use the business’s broad customer base and product lines to supplement Rice Lake’s existing catalog and clientele.
