(nuvoTrace: Las Vegas) -- nuvoTrace, a small business entity, has introduced innovative technology to safely and quickly test packages for leak tightness—down to 7 micron channels. The nondestructive tester developed by the company uses safe, nontoxic tracer gas to determine leak tightness of packages.

For years methylene blue dunking has been the test method for finding leaks in blister packs. The problem is that once the product has been exposed to the liquid, the Food and Drug Administration requires costly disposal of the tested samples. Most products must be incinerated, and the process also requires cumbersome documentation. nuvoTrace worked on a solution to end these problems and is now launching the Trace900 blister and package tester.
