(InnovMetric: Québec City, Canada) -- InnovMetric Software Inc., a global supplier of industrial 3-D metrology software solutions, is proud to unveil the world’s first relational inspection solution with PolyWorks v. 12. The new relational inspection architecture analyzes every single step in a part measurement workflow to construct a logical representation of the operator’s intent using objects, parameters, and relationships between objects. Rebuilt on top of this new relational foundation, PolyWorks v. 12 offers unprecedented technical capabilities in the world of 3-D metrology software.

• Real-time updates. Part-inspection projects and reports, measured either by a point cloud digitizer, contact-based probing device, or both, can be modified and automatically updated in real time. For example, if a circle’s constraining plane is modified, PolyWorks v. 12’s automatic project updater would update the circle itself, objects related to this circle, and any table or snapshot referring to these objects.
