Cascade Microtech Inc. recently received Electronic Products’ Product of the Year award for its L-Series Microfluidics Metrology System. The editors of the periodical evaluated thousands of products launched in 2005 on their innovation of design, the significance of their advancement in technology or application, and on their achievements in price and performance. Cascade Microtech reports that its L-Series Microfluidics Metrology System demonstrated success in all three categories by allowing researchers to improve test efficiency, reduce time and money spent in the development of test devices, and improve the overall profitability of development for these micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS).
