Lumetrics Gets CE Mark for OptiGauge System

Lumetrics Inc., a manufacturer of precision noncontact thickness measurement systems, recently received the CE Mark of technical approval for its OptiGauge system.

CE marking is required for most products sold in European countries, and signifies that the product meets European guidelines for consumer health and safety, and environmentally sound production. The OptiGauge system is a measurement platform that uses a noncontact infrared optical approach to measure single- and multiple-layer films and components simultaneously. It’s applicable to manufacturing lines and quality assurance labs.

Lumetrics also finalized sales partnerships with several companies to market its products in Asia, Eastern Europe and the European Union. Altech Communications Inc. will market Lumetrics’ products in Japan, China and Thailand; and 2Spring will market the products to the medical device industries in Ireland, the United Kingdom, Europe and Africa.
