For high-sensitivity applications requiring 0.1 mg readability, the scale has a new draftshield with removable doors and panels for easy cleaning.

Featuring simple, menu-driven operation, the Alliance/OHAUS Pioneer Series analytical balance performs basic and dynamic (i.e., animal) weighing, parts counting, and percent weighing, and includes 15 international weighing units. Standard features include a level indicator, an RS232 port, and a combination software and mechanical switch that lock menus, including calibration.
